QL is a complete, end-to-end, digital signage CMS software platform offered in both Cloud and On-Premise versions. The software platform features an intuitive web-based (HTML5) user interface and provides the ability to target any display with any content at any time. QL supports all popular content types, including Images, 4K video content, HTML and HTML5 content, live data feeds (XML, RSS, CAP, Social Media, etc.), multi-zone templates, live video streams, and more. QL Player Software is multi-platform and interoperable. It can be run on the following media player types: Windows, Android, BrightSign, Samsung Tizen SoC, LG WebOS SoC, Philips SoC, etc.

Configuration/Integration
QL and InformaCast software work together seamlessly, with no integration work required. Via QL’s integrated Data Feed Manager, which is accessed from our web-based CMS, simply add the appropriate InformaCast outbound feed as a new data feed, and your integration is complete!
QL players will then listen to the InformaCast feed (XML, RSS, CAP, etc.) in real-time and allow users to easily create rule-based content triggers, which will instantly display the appropriate alert, notification, or message text on any number of displays anywhere in the world. As soon as a given rule is satisfied (i.e., a new severe weather warning has been issued), your trigger content will appear on the screen in place of the regularly scheduled content for as long as the alert remains active. Once the alert is cleared in InformaCast, QL players will automatically return to playing their regularly scheduled content.
All content triggering is accomplished via Web Socket communication, ensuring all alerts and notifications are displayed instantaneously on screen.
