Kisi is a cloud-based access control solution that empowers organizations to manage their facilities smarter, safer, and more efficiently. Integrating Kisi with InformaCast allows organizations to initiate (and cancel) a building-wide lockdown from the InformaCast interface. Organizations can also lock and unlock specific doors at a location when sending an InformaCast scenario.

This integration expands InformaCast’s lockdown capabilities. From a single interface, organizations can activate lockdowns to secure a building, while simultaneously sending alerts to all connected devices to alert people that a lockdown is taking place. This means lockdowns can happen more quickly, because system admins only need to use one tool rather than jumping between multiple solutions, wasting valuable time. When connected, InformaCast can also be used to lift a lockdown, reopening Kisi-connected access points and delivering “All Clear” messages so normal operations can resume.
