Madison, Wis. – Apr. 22, 2025 – Singlewire Software, the leader in solutions that help keep people safe and informed, announces the launch of Dismissal Manager as part of its Visitor Aware platform. Dismissal Manager will enable schools to streamline the end-of-day dismissal process with a digital solution that provides accurate student information to help ensure they get home safely. School staff will be able to seamlessly communicate between outdoor carline pickups and the classroom to release students when approved parents or guardians arrive, minimizing delays.
“The end of the school day can be chaotic,” said Joanna Haugland, chief product officer for Visitor Aware. “Dismissal Manager is going to offer schools reliable, easy-to-access information about where each student is supposed to go, to help create a less stressful and more secure process.”
With Dismissal Manager, schools are able to assign a dismissal type to each student that designates how they get home each day, including whether they take the bus, get picked up by a parent or guardian, walk home, or attend an after-school program. Parents are given QR codes that identify them as being authorized for pick-up, which school staff can scan and alert staff inside the building that a student can be released. It also offers integration with License Plate Recognition tools to identify cars as they arrive for pickup. This capability can also identify banned vehicles so school officials can intervene before threats arise.
